Credit crunch fears top lack of sleep poll

13-04-2009

A study published this week in America has revealed that the economy is the most common worry that keeps people awake at night. The research, carried out by Ipsos for the hotel chain AmericInn Hotels, asked 1000 US citizens what affects their sleep on a regular basis, with the credit crunch coming top with 36% of poll.

After the ecomony, the next most common worry that was cited in the research was health and medical issues, with 28%.

Overall, the poll found that 62% of respondents have trouble falling asleep at least once a week, while 10% claimed to have difficulty sleeping every night.
