Pregnancy and your Bed

24-09-2012

Being pregnant causes a whole raft of changes in your body, it changes your desire for food, it changes the amount of times you need to go to the toilet and it changes the way you sleep.

One major problem for many pregnant women is that they struggle to get comfortable, all of a sudden they cannot sleep in the same way that they used to and many find that they overheat far more easily.

It is vital that women sleep well while they are pregnant, they are going to need every wink they can get, especially as there will not be much rest after the baby has been born.

One of the key elements is to have a comfortable bed. The best mattress type for a pregnant woman is a memory foam one for the simple reason that it is the only mattress material that will mould itself to her exact form. This means that the growing belly will be perfectly accommodated night after night as it gets larger and larger.
