So you have just become the proud new owner of a memory foam bed. You will be luxuriating in the incredible balance of comfort and support that this revolutionary bedding material can deliver. You will be amazed that you ever slept on anything else. It really is the only way to spend a third of your life, in comfort and well supported.
It is no surprise that memory foam has taken the bedding market by storm. No other bedding material even comes close. That is why it is revolutionary. When something comes on the market that essentially makes everything else obsolete, it is revolutionary, it changes everything. Memory foam has become the leading mattress material for good reason, it is better than everything else, by far.
However, unfortunately, many unscrupulous manufacturers and retailers of other bedding materials have tried to spread rumours regarding memory foam in a vain attempt to stop its justified popularity. One of the rumours they have spread is that it is highly flammable.
The reality is that memory foam is no more flammable than other bedding materials. Even steel is flammable at the right temperature, so saying it is flammable is disingenuous. It is as safe as other bedding materials and it is far more comfortable and supportive.
