How To Relieve Tendon Pains Using A Mattress

22-02-2011

Tendon pain is a common cause of insomnia and a poor quality mattress can make it even worse, exacerbating the problem and creating a vicious cycle. Luckily, a high quality memory foam mattress can actually help to relieve tendon pains.

Memory foam was invented by NASA to use in crash proofing. It is a heat reactive material that shapes itself to the contours of the sleeper’s body, becoming the perfect, bespoke mattress for anyone who sleeps on it.

Because it shapes itself perfectly to your body, there is less strain on the body. Although it seems like you are perfectly relaxed in bed at night, if you have a poor quality mattress, your muscles will often be taut throughout the night as they try to keep you comfortable and supported. This means that when you wake in the morning you are painful. Because memory foams is so supportive yet comfortable, your body does not have to keep your muscles taut during the night, meaning that in the morning you wake feeling relaxed.

Because it will mould to you no matter which way you are sleeping it means that you no longer have to compromise on sleeping position. In a poor quality bed, people who suffer tendon pain will often be able to only lie in one position, but with a memory foam bed, every position is equally as comfortable.
